Insulating and cladding of large PM1 hood ducts and steam piping insulation for recycled soft tissue.
The Challenge
There were many various challenges with this contract however, we thrive on complex design and fabrication that many others would call insurmountable.
- This job required multiple layers of insulation as temperatures run at 650 degrees Celsius.
The Solution
We used a combination of ceramic blanket and Rockwool insulation and welded standoffs for securing sheet metal cladding.
The cladding was aluminium metal sheeting that was all made in our workshop and then transported to the site.
